Diets Tried and Tested : The First Post

Hello everyone and welcome to Diets Tried and Tested.

Who am I ? I am your new Diet Guinea pig. I am the perfect test subject being 15stone 3lbs and desperate to lose weight. I am also a huge foodie and love every kind of food. I am a mother and wife so have my hands full at home and find juggling our meals to make me lose but the children not lose out difficult. We always have crisps and biscuits in the house and usually lots of healthy pizza and choccies.

We do buy in plenty of fruit and veg .. but I also like most of you am on a budget and find it very difficult to afford healthy sometimes.

I have tried a few diets in the past .. but to be honest they have been half hearted attempts and I feel I could have tried harder. As of late ( since the birth of my Baby Boy (3rd) 4mths ago ) I have been lost as far as dieting and which one to follow goes, so I thought I would investigate all of them .. see how much each costs, how easy they are to follow , what results I see from them.

I will blog each day about the diet, what I have ate,  how it feels .. how much I am losing and ofcourse giving you all the details of each diet tried. I will be starting tomorow with The Slim Fast Diet. Each diet will be tried for 2 weeks .. one week with exercise and one week without just to see the mixture at work.
